Nature has provided us air, water and soil to survive so that we can spiritually evolve to higher state. Gau (Cow) Seva provides an opportunity to pay back to the nature and strengthen the environment and build a better community from material & Spiritual aspects. Specially, in this modern society, where we suffer from ill effects of stress leading to all kinds of health issues, lack of mental balance to lead a happy and contented life, we can get fast track relief by doing Gau (Cow) Seva aligned with Vedic Philosophy. Every negative activity that we do (even un-intentionally) leads to karmic bad debt which is not easy to erase and hence the best way of purification is to do Gau (Cow) Seva and gain strength to face the karmic effects.

Vedas declare that among many billions of different kinds of vibrations in the cosmos, 330 million (33 crore) vibrations reside in Indian pure breed cows and hence it is utmost important to the human society that we protect and serve Gau (Cow) everyday of our life.

It is our desire to give the best possible care to these sacred cows. We feed them pure natural hay, grain husk with mineral supplements and the cows graze freely on the grass in our 70-acre farm. We have constructed a barn to house them and employed a caretaker to tend to their needs. We also schedule regular medical checkup for cows by a certified veterinarian. We have instituted various programs through which we invite the public to acquire the great spiritual benefit of serving the cows.

In Vedic society, the economy was based on agriculture and cow protection. Sri Krishna mentions this in the Bhagavad-gita:

krsi-go-raksya-vanijyam vaisya-karma svabhava-jam (Bg 18.44) Five thousand years ago, when Krishna was personally present on this planet, there was enough milk, butter and curd. When there were festivals, the cowherd men would throw yogurt, milk, clarified butter and water upon the bodies of one another.

Everyone had sufficient stock of milk and other milk-products. Sri Krishna is glorified as the protector of the cows and brahminical culture (go-brahmana-hitaya ca).

The Brahma Samhita describes Lord Krishna to be tending the surabhi cows in His spiritual abode of Goloka Vrindavana, which is surrounded by millions of desire-fulfilling trees.

The cows are bathed every day. They are allowed to roam around freely in the farm so that they can stretch their limbs and get some exercise. Many visitors have commented that the cows are peaceful and content.

Many people wonder why do we have to serve Gau Mata.

The answer to this you will find only when you view your life more closely – just zoom in. Ever wondered, why in spite of every luxury we have today – why do we have sufferings, illness and to top it all a lack of mental peace.

It is seen everywhere, stress is around and that accompanies many diseases and makes us unhappy. This is part of the karma (deeds) we perform, to satisfy the necessities of life. Money is always good and is an essential requirement and we make all attempts to earn a good living for our family.

However, unknowingly, the way we earn money may be wrong or right, which makes our money impious (bad) or pious (good). In addition, the use of impious earning is the main cause of all suffering. What we eat is bought with money and what we are eating has direct effect on our mind and soul

Now to change the source of earnings may not be practically possible, in the competitive world of today , especially when you are directly not involved in or aware of wrongdoings. Our needs are always unlimited, so the best option you have is to purify your earrings for a better living.

By this you are ensured of being blessed with Sadhbuddhi (righteous mind), which is required to stay focused and progress in your career. The easiest and best way of purifying good or bad money is to do Gau-seva (serve cows) so that our mind and soul are not affected and we become more happy and healthy, mentally, physically and spiritually.

Interested persons may kindly donate towards the gauseva and get the benefit of serving Gau mata.
